Cards, Cards and More Cards

I have a show coming up on Thursday. I wanted to make a bunch of collaged cards for the show as this is an affordable way for people to buy original art. I have been selling my cards for $3.50 this seems kind of low to me for the amount of time invested in each card.

 The cards all measure 4" x 5"

Please leave a comment and tell me what you think I should/could charge.

Pam - Are you marketing these as "frame-able note cards? Many people do not think of the note card beyond it's normal function of communication. By marketing the cards as something with a lifespan beyond the initial use, you can justify (if you need to) charging more. Mass produced cards sell for $3.50. I think marketed the right way, you can charge $8 - $10. Of course, if volume is important to you, then you might need to go lower.

i would definitely charge more, but it depends on your goals. if it's to generate cash, maybe the 5-7 range, and you put less work into each card. if it's to educate people, make a sign as annie suggested and charge more. the best way to gague is to find someone doing something similar & see what they
re charging.
